Greenland is simply a magical destination.  Dominated by an ice sheet covering 80% of the country’s surface area, a trip to Greenland will guarantee an unforgettable adventure filled with unfathomable scenery and an abundance of game.  The Northern Lights are an added bonus, a visual feast you’ll never ever forget!  The primary big game species in Greenland are Musk Ox and Caribou (classed as Central Barren Ground technically), with small game including Arctic Fox; Snow Hare and Rock Ptarmigan huntable during the Fall hunts. 

 

Musk Ox are hunted during two seasons (Fall and Spring) with Caribou being targeted in Spring only.  Fall conditions are truly arctic, you’ll be hunting in a winter wonderland accessed by tracked 4WDs and ATVs.  Traversing the landscape at this time of year is a mind-boggling experience in itself. 

 

In Spring, Caribou are antlered and the weather is much more mild, with the colours of the Spring vegetation taking over the usually snow- and ice-covered landscape.  Hunting in Greenland is about as much fun as you can possibly have on a hunting trip anywhere!
